The Story

Up And Social is pleased to share that we just completed a new kitchen website design project for Capertown Kitchen and Bath, Inc. Our goal for this kitchen design website was to provide a showroom feel in conjunction with a modern design. Capertown Kitchen and Bath, Inc. wanted an online presence that would showcase the high-quality design of their work while also providing the right mix of information to encourage in-home consultations.  The new website presents a welcoming environment for viewers to feel comfortable browsing around almost as if they were in a showroom. Pictures adequately showing custom designs appear throughout the website. Additionally, since this is an online storefront,’ it was imperative to make lead generation a priority.

The Challenge

Meeting the objectives of Capertown Kitchen and Bath, Inc with an online presence was quite the journey. We were tasked with delivering a contemporary design that is both interactive and responsive in addition to creating a navigable space that tells a captivating story.  One of the biggest goals for this project was to provide enough compelling content to prompt readers to schedule an in-home consultation. Another goal was to provide a wealth of information about the company in concise, biteable pieces for readers to consume. As a top Boston web design company, it is our job to find the right balance between a warm online experience and enough content to meet the goals and objectives of our clients.

Kitchen & Bath Website Design Solution

We started this project first with the company goals in mind. We created functionality on all pages so that readers can schedule in-home consultations at any time during their online visit. We also spoke with our clients to get a picture of who their clients are and what motivates them. From these conversations, we were able to understand the relationship between seeing a final product and making a buying decision. This prompted us to design the entire online presence to have a modern showroom feel.  We created backgrounds that look like walls and filled the website with imagery of upscale bathrooms and kitchen decor. We also included a holder for testimonials, since social proof is a driving force for consistent business. The new site features a classic color pallet of black and white to match the logo in addition to pops of color to highlight certain areas of importance. And finally, the entire site is mobile responsive.
